Refund & Cancellation Policy

Effective date: 30 May 2026 · healthplanadvise.com

Summary

You may request a full refund before we begin providing the service. Once the service has started, refunds are generally not available in full. We will always refund you if the service is not delivered or is materially not as described.

1. Full Refund — Before Work Starts

You are entitled to a full refund if you cancel before we begin providing the service. “Beginning the service” means any of the following has occurred: we have started reviewing your submitted information; we have begun preparing personalised advice; we have assigned an advisor; we have reserved consultation time; or we have started preparing a report or letter.

For most cases, work begins within a few hours of a completed submission. If you need to cancel, contact us as soon as possible at info@healthplanadvise.com.

2. Cancellations After Work Has Started

If we approve a cancellation after work has started, we may deduct a reasonable cancellation fee to cover work already performed, reserved time, and administrative processing costs. This deduction will not exceed the greater of the actual non-refundable costs already incurred or work already performed, up to a maximum of 20% of the order value, where permitted by applicable law.

3. Scheduled Consultations — No-Shows and Late Cancellations

Cancellations made less than 24 hours before a scheduled consultation, or missed appointments and no-shows, may be non-refundable, because advisor time has been reserved and cannot usually be reallocated at short notice.

We may offer one reschedule at our sole discretion. Rescheduling requests must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled time.

4. When You Are Always Entitled to a Full Refund

No cancellation fee will apply, and a full refund will be issued, where:

5. No Guarantee of Outcome

Our advisory service provides guidance and information only. We do not guarantee insurance approval, eligibility determinations, coverage decisions, claims acceptance, pricing outcomes, or any decision by an insurer, broker, employer, regulator, or third party. An unsuccessful claim outcome does not in itself constitute grounds for a refund.

Our money-back guarantee applies specifically where we cannot identify any actionable issue in your case — meaning we found no reasonable grounds on which to base an analysis or appeal letter. This is rare; if it applies, we will tell you and issue a full refund promptly.

6. How to Request a Refund

Email info@healthplanadvise.com with your order reference number (found in your confirmation email or dashboard) and the reason for your request. We aim to acknowledge refund requests within one business day and resolve them within two business days.

Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method (PayPal). Processing times vary and are typically 3–10 business days after our approval, depending on your bank or PayPal.

7. Checkout Agreement

Before payment, you are asked to confirm the following:

“I agree to the Refund and Cancellation Policy. I understand that if I request the service to start immediately, I may lose the right to a full refund once the service has started, except where required by law or where the service is not delivered or is materially not as described.”
